Simple White Cake with Whipped Cream Icing


The initial product from scratch. O.K., maybe not the initial. This was cake two, because when I made cake one, I made a costly error. The directions called for baking powder, but I accidentally added baking soda. Although it looked appetizing, it had a funny aftertaste.














Here, I'm whipping the heavy cream to make my whipped cream.

The finished product. In contrast to last week, all who tried it enjoyed it. Finally, a success.
